Marlene Dietrich demanded Max Factor to sprinkle real gold 。This is a delightful mustard yellow tam from the 1930s\'. The hat consists of a cap which is covered in a full brown veil that falls forward and secured by 2 thin felt bands with bands of brown sequins. The veil can be placed over the hat, falling backwards. There are several thin curly bands of felt attached to the back as shown in the photos. Some of the bands have the same bands of brown sequins. This is a stunning look, however, there are tiny moth bites which are barely visible on the cap, and sone bites on the curled bands at the back. Please see photo #7.
A toque is small cap or bonnet having a narrow brim or no brim at all. Toques were popular from the 13th to the 16th century in Europe, especially France. The mode was revived in the 1930s.
