They are highly sought after by collectors of vintage boho, western, and utilitarian leather goods.  The Material: It is built from incredibly thick, structured, raw natural cowhide leather. This leather is designed to develop a heavy patina, showing natural variations, scuffs, and character over time.  2. Key Design Elements Hardware: The defining feature of this model is the heavy-duty silver-tone trigger snap / dog-leash clip closure securing the top flap.  Storage Pocketing: It features a prominent front pouch pocket that fastens with a traditional buckle and strap, along with side pockets for quick-access organization. The Interior: True to traditional Uruguayan leathercraft, these bags are typically unlined, showcasing the raw, rugged suede underside of the cowhide.
